Team,
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our team event. It was great to spend time together outside of work, enjoy some friendly competition, and strengthen the relationships that help us work better together. I’m also sharing a post on LinkedIn recognizing this team, but I wanted to reach out directly and build on the message we discussed. Everyone brings something valuable to Allied. From estimating and planning to managing projects and installing the work, each person’s knowledge and effort helps the next person succeed. There is a lot of talent here, and we need to keep creating opportunities for people to learn, grow, and lead from within. The next step is carrying that message to all Allied employees through our conversations and our actions. That means planning ahead, so our crews have the leadership, information, tools, and materials they need. It means thinking outside the box, speaking up with ideas, and looking for better ways to get the work done safely and efficiently. It also means recognizing and celebrating the people putting in the work those who come prepared, help others, solve problems, and take pride in what they do. Those efforts deserve to be noticed, and that recognition should reach every part of Allied. Each of you helps set the tone, please bring these conversations back to your teams, ask for their ideas, and give them opportunities to contribute. My door is always open, whether you have an idea, a concern, or something you think we could do better, I want to hear it.
I appreciate what each of you brings to Allied. Let’s carry the energy from this event into our offices, our shop, and our jobsites, and keep building a company we’re all proud to be part of. Finally, this message will be included with this week's Safety Meeting . I would like all of you to read and discuss it with your team on site this week.
